Denying the Father

Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: “I am the first and I am the last; besides me there is no god.

Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son.

No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also

And every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.

They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work.

So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.

All these verses say the same thing, and there are many more that speaks to God denying us before the Father.

I want to give clear understanding on these because I believe a lot of people are not truly clear on what this means. I will try to help you understand these verses and how we are to apply these verses to our daily lives.

1. You must always defend the truth.

2. The truth is what is written in the Bible

3. You must hold to all of what is written to be true and not waiver.

#1 Defending the truth is always speaking what is true and never denying it. This means we stand in every way for what is true even when it is not popular. Please understand Jesus said you will be hated for what is true because it points to him.

#2 Ok now the truth that is in the written word and what that means. This is amazingly simple, but people tend to complicate it by apply their own concept to what scripture says. This is problematic and extremely dangerous let me explain why. When we try to explain biblical text to mean something other than what it is saying we then deny the deity of the Creator. This is one way we deny Jesus, Jesus said if you deny me before man 👨 then I will deny you before my Father. If you utterly understand the implications of this knowing that Jesus came so we can be freed to the Father so that his righteousness would be imputed to us this should have you tremendously in fear. Jesus is the one who intercedes us before a Holy and righteous God, then this should open your eyes for good.

#3 So this speaks on you holding up what is truth and not what is popular. God truth can at times be very offensive to those that do not understand what truth is and what truth its purpose is to an unrepetitive world. The truth is meant to help us understand our true nature, so if you do not hold to the written truth in scripture you are by denying this you are denying Jesus Christ our Lord and savior. If you believe the inerrancy of scripture and what is written in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 that read like this.

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God[a] may be complete, equipped for every good work.

So, with all that said we cannot cower down to the normativity of this society and stay true to the faith of the kingdom to come. It is written that the cowardly will part-take of the lake of fire.

Denying the creator maybe one of the many things that will lead us to lose our way.
