This may not be what you expect, so I will explain why I felt compelled to write this and what the title means. I have lived for 57 years, experiencing good and bad things that have greatly impacted my life. However, these things have molded me into who God called me to be and taught me how to determine true right from wrong.
I will undeniably provide proof for everything I share with you. Those who are familiar with my writings understand that I rely on scripture because it reveals the true heart of my Lord and Savior.
I initially intended to write about the condition of mankind, but instead, I felt compelled to focus on a different aspect, as they are closely related. Our human condition in the flesh can be better understood by exploring the purpose of the Bible and conveying its meaning to humanity. This will be a very detailed blog because of how important the word of God is to our souls.
So, let’s get started with the truth about our condition.
When I say "Bible defined," I mean that it represents the definition of life. The Bible provides guidance on how we are to live, based on the teachings of Jesus Christ, who declared that He is the Word made flesh, dwelling among us. How deeply must He have loved us, and how much does He still love us to choose to live among us over 2000 years ago so that we can be with Him eternally? There is no greater love than that of our Savior, who loved us even while we were still His enemies and treated Him with hatred.
I might be mistaken, but I doubt anyone has explored the meaning of the word "Bible." Did you know that in Greek, the word "bible" means "books"? This makes perfect sense, considering it contains 66 books filled with God’s divine words. The link below will show you the origins of the term. In this blog, I will discuss the purpose of the word and its context.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
In basic English, God's message to me is clear. However, to the lost, they will not heed or understand what is being said. The god of this world has blinded them so they cannot see the truth.
In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
Let them alone; they are blind guides. And if the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.”
When we stray from the truth, we often rely on our thoughts and feelings instead of seeking guidance from the Lord. This reliance contributes to the confusion we see in the world today. Facts lose their significance when people refuse to acknowledge their observations. Suppose they disregard what is true in our visible reality, which I like to call observable reality. In that case, it raises the question of why they would listen to anything that is genuinely accurate. The answer is that they won’t, and this is what I will discuss in today’s blog.
Before we move forward, it’s important to acknowledge the message conveyed in the verses above. God is clearly speaking about unbelievers—those who claim to be believers yet produce no fruit; they are deceived. This distinction is critical, as it highlights the source of confusion surrounding our understanding of true faith. These individuals are not knowingly but are following the God of this world who poses as an angel of light however many knowingly do.
Here’s an excellent video that explains this concept well. In the video, the presenter demonstrates how those who do not follow the one true living God are actually following the god of this world. Jesus made it clear to His followers that if they wanted to follow Him, they must "pick up their cross daily." This means that they must die to their flesh and the worldly desires it produces daily.

When we see facts right before our eyes and still deny their truth, we end up with a society ruled by depraved minds. God spoke about this condition in Romans 1:24 and continued through that chapter. Here are the
Romans 1:24-29
Therefore, God gave them up to vile impurity in the lusts of their hearts so that their bodies would be dishonored among them. For they exchanged the truth of God for falsehood and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
For this reason, God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged natural relations for that which is contrary to nature, and likewise the men, too, abandoned natural relations with women and burned in their desire toward one another, males with males committing shameful acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.
And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a depraved mind, to do those things that are not proper, people having been filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, and evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, and malice; they are gossips,
In the above set of verses, you can see what causes the depravity of mankind starts with the sexual way they view each other; wow aren’t we living that exact lifestyle today?
The Bible is our guide for life, defining our journey and how we are to move on earth for God.
So, we use a dictionary to help us understand the proper way to use a word because we know what it means. Well, that is the purpose of the Bible; it gives us the answer for all observable things.
The word bible has a meaning in the dictionary.
The term "Bible" refers to any book, reference work, periodical, etc., that is accepted as authoritative, informative, or reliable. A dictionary helps us understand the meanings of words, enabling us to form sentences properly and communicate effectively with one another.
The Bible serves a profound purpose for humanity: it guides us in discerning how to lead meaningful lives and offers timeless instruction on how to walk in accordance with God's will. Yet, we often find ourselves questioning the clear guidance provided by this sacred text, while seldom doubting the definitions laid out in a dictionary. Many may argue that these two types of books are fundamentally different, but I contend otherwise. Both serve as essential tools that enhance our understanding—one illuminating the intricacies of language, and the other revealing the deeper truths of existence and morality.
So how does that work, you asked? I’m so glad you asked.
Allow me to elaborate on their similarities: Individuals often regard one as an authoritative source, while the other is interpreted and read through the lens of personal emotions and experiences. This distinction highlights how the interpretation of the Bible has evolved over the years, reflecting shifting cultural and emotional landscapes.
However, this is not the case; the words of God remain constant and unchanging, transcending our interpretations and human efforts to impart our own meanings onto them.
This example can easily be seen in our everyday lives, like a man calling themselves a woman when it is very clear to see that he is a man. I have no issue with someone who wants to see themselves as the opposite of how God made them. However, when they try to impose their views on others and deny how people truly are, that is where I draw the line.
There are many examples I can use but this one is the one most are questioning, especially Christians and to me, this should not be among believers. There are clear markers for the ones who believe in the one and true living God our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
My argument is that we often question the inspired words of God while we accept the ever-changing words of man without hesitation. Despite this, we tend to resist change, particularly when it involves God's unchanging truth. We manipulate what He says is true, twisting it into something that resembles a lie. This behavior aligns with what God warned us would happen: we choose to follow a path of falsehood rather than the truth. This should genuinely concern us, yet it often does not. Who is truly misleading us: those who speak the truth with love, or those who accept lies as truth?
This is the state of the world today, we are in the good is evil and evil is good when what is observable is called out to what it is not. God had a strong rebuke to those who lived this way.
Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and shrewd in their own sight!
When God tells us He does not change, He means He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. He is a constant God, and His words will remain even when everything else is laid to rest. His word will still be here, teaching the truth.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
“For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed.
The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.
God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?
Forever, O Lord, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens.
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end;
But the word of the Lord remains forever.” And this word is the good news that was preached to you.
These verses illustrate how God is an unchangeable force. For those who are saved, His truth is written in our hearts, and we cannot deny it. Therefore, I believe that those who go against the written word are not saved; to me, that is quite clear. God tells us those the Father gives me I will not lose.
Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.
Since you have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him.
Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.
So, as we go about this fine earth looking like pagans, how can we call ourselves Christians? Well, we cannot, because those who live this way are not of Christ.
Here are some of the clear words of God, and we continue to live outside of the will and call ourselves Christians.
Living together as an unmarried couple is viewed as a violation of moral and spiritual principles. To be precise, engaging in any form of sexual activity before marriage is seen as contrary to God's teachings. Moreover, many individuals who endorse and enable abortion are also walking a path of sin. God's message is unambiguous: it is not just the person who performs the act who bears responsibility; those who support and facilitate such actions share the same guilt. In the face of these transgressions, all involved are called to seek repentance and restore their relationship with God.
God showed us what love looks like when He lived among us over 2000 years ago. Our concept of love is very wrong, but we still consider it the correct way to love one another.
But God says this: if you do not love your brother who lives amongst you, then you cannot love Him. In these next set of verses, God makes it clear about how love truly works.
We love because he first loved us. If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother. Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome. 4 For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
I understand that at this moment, my words may feel somewhat prolonged, but it's crucial to grasp the weight of these truths. They are likely resonating deeply within you, tugging at your heartstrings and testing your willingness to accept them. I urge you to embrace the profound reality that we must let God be true and recognize that every man may be deceitful.
By no means! Let God be true though everyone were a liar, as it is written, “That you may be justified in your words, and prevail when you are judged.”
I recognize that this journey is far from easy, but those who speak the truth never promised it would be. We often fall into the trap of believing that simplicity equals ease, yet the reality is quite the opposite. When you find yourself at odds with your true nature, the challenge becomes monumental; it may very well be the most daunting experience you will ever face. This struggle is precisely why God calls us to be born again and renewed in Christ. We must let go of the old self and fully embrace the vibrant new life that Christ sacrificed so much to offer us.
As always, I hope this message reaches all intended recipients and brings blessings to those who read it. May God bless all who pass through my blog.
God Bless
peace & shalom
