I will share three bullet points with you so you can see how without understanding these intrinsic aspects of salvation, people will lose their walk with Jesus Christ our Lord and savior.
John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me.
I want break it down with these three points below.
I am the way
I am the truth
I am the life.
Ok let’s get started.
The way is or should be clear to everyone, if not I will make this short so we can stick to the topic of why we deny the Christ.
The way is the narrow path to our lord and savior, and yes this is the only way to the father, there is no multiple way as Opera says there’s only one. These kinds of teachings are to confuse people in to believing a lie. You cannot call yourself a Christian and believe anything else because you will be led astray.
Subsequently, we need to get towards the source which is the reason we deny the Creator. Before we move forward in this, I have a discloser on truth; truth is love and has no cares for one’s feelings about what is called true. The truth weather or not you want to believe in it, does not change the facts that it is true.
Perfect example of this is an addict. When you tell them that they’re hurting themselves and how this can lead to their death. They will not see this as you helping, they see you as the enemy denying them what they want the most. Realizing truth in love, to some it does not always look like love even if we are trying to help them, we will appear to being mean and unloving. These are the ones that calls us intolerant but they are not willing to hear truth but want to force their truth on to us.
There is a drug out there that is the most addictive drug known to man and it is called sin, the reason it has such a strong hold is because it touches all the senses in the body. But there is hope something stronger and better than that is available and if you call on his name today you will be release from the bondage of sin and receive something that is priceless from the Lord and that name is Jesus.
You have to understand that the ruler of this world is Satan, God has given Satan authority of planet earth for a short period so with that said I will share with you what is happening to people on earth.
Now that you understand that Satan is the small g god of this world this should start to paint a picture for you. We have the father of lies rules over everything being managed by society, everything is managed by him. Our media in every aspect persuades us to the thing of darkness and in darkness there is no truth, because truth leads us to the light. We are fighting against the wrong enemy because our nature in sinful, so we tend to cling to what is more familiar to us and that is why we fall away. The things of this world is more familiar to us and that is why our father tells us to seek first the thing above and all will be added to you. Matthew 6:33, the people in the chapter were worried about everything, how they were going to cloth themselves eat live ie;. And then Jesus says this

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
This may seem hard but with Christ all things are possible, and this is where our faith should follow. The truth of the media actually all of the entertainment industry is built to deceive the people by the masses and without truth you will be lost. Ephesians 6:13 which speaks of the full armor of God we will be lost.

13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.
Satan has been working this out for a long time and he is ready to unfold his masterpiece. Every part of what we hear and see most of the time are not even our own original thoughts, it is part of a byproduct of life that is called osmoses which simple means we’ve heard, seen or experienced something that someone else did and said, since they said it is truth we took it as so. These are thing that naturally happens without us even knowing it is happening and ends up being our own thought even dough it is not. This is why God say be set apart from the world is so that we are not influenced by the things of the world. That is why we need to read is word daily so we can determine what is true or false.
Know that truth is in the person Jesus Christ and without him there is no truth and to those who denies truth denies Jesus. Today we think that we can have truth on our own, but we can’t, because truth is good, and we are not because we sin. This is the first understanding you will need to come to for you to move forward, without this you will not be able to move forward and will easily move away from truth. It may seem hard, but it is the only way. Without the truth you will not receive the promises, and without the life you will never enter the gates of the way to the Father.
Know that truth is in the person Christ Jesus and without him there is no truth for he is truth.
The whole issue here is that society has brain wash us into think we can do these things on our own, which is complete opposite of what God has commanded us.
God says I am, meaning He is all thing to all people, and we are to come to him when we are lost so he may point us back to all truth. Here in these verses God will give us all a clear picture that he wants us to come to him. realize that this does take work on our part, so instead of working so hard in denying, work hard in receiving him.
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.
