Understanding The Fear Of God.

I know I have spoken about fear, but I do not believe I was clear enough about the importance of understanding fear and its purpose in our life. I will share scripture and a sermon from a pastor which I feel clearly expresses my feeling on this matter.

Jesus spoke explicitly of fear and who we should truly fear but the world as fallen away from Gods word so Satan and his legions have stepped in and dupped the masses to fear man or him instead of God. Jesus said fear not the one who can take your life but the one who can cast your soul into eternal darkness, let me not butcher this and give you Jesus’s words instead.

Matthew 10:27-33

What I tell you in the dark, say in the light, and what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a penny?[b] And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. So, everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.

I am always saying you have come too late to tell me God doesn’t exist. Jesus says if you deny me before man, I will deny you before my father. The weird thing about this is that I had forgotten the full content of this verse until now. See one of the key components to denying the Creator is that their fear is mis place they fear the aftermath of what is to come from a dying denying world instead of what is permanent and eternal. The world does not see God the creator of all that exists in the universe or the galaxy as we do. This is what cause most to num up and speak ill of the Lord and savior, but to those who believe and accepts the free give of Jesus Christ sees thing differently.

In this sermon I believe it says it all about how the fear of the lord has no reverence in man today. But I will add some things I also see from this cancel culture that we live in today. I want to make you aware of it because it is truly dangerous. They have taken the truth and bent and twisted it to meet their needs, and the church has accepted it as truth instead of guiding this culture to the only truth man has, God and His word. See I believe that we got it wrong when man says the biggest delusion the devil has ever done is convince man that he does not exist. What he has done is have man kind fear him over the creator and the church never corrected the delusion of this over the pulpit, and because of this we are where we are today. We lack the understandings of God’s word because we do not spend enough time, actually some spend no time with him at all and still consider themselves to be Christians. However they have no idea the glory there is in knowing such an awesome God. When I think or even see things of this nature it truly breaks my heart because it is an experience that cannot be put into words the only way it can be explained is to go thru it. So today I will share a different perspective of the great I AM and his awesomeness.

God say that fear is the beginning of wisdom and in wisdom God will give us understanding. So, I want to share some words with you guys because I do not believe we pay close enough attention to words as we should because God says this about words and how we use them.

I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, 37 for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

I put these words together, so it is clear to all that wisdom stands outside of all the other words of knowledge. Looks like they are pretty close, but they are not; look closer and you will see God fingerprint in the one-word wisdom. In wisdom you see both of the word’s meanings but in wisdom only dose God say you will have a better understanding of man. In the definition of wisdom is where you get discernment, it says you will be able to discern the inner quality of a matter like relationships having an insight or a knowledge of a matter because God has supplied you with an understanding of the issue being presented.

I hope you ladies and gents can appreciate why I went about it this way, so that you can clearly see that the churches have failed greatly in this and we also played a part in it as well. By the ways we act and how we live and speak when it comes to the Most-High God. We will be held accountable to every word we utter so we should choose our word carefully when speaking to each other. In this as well we show no fear or respect to taking every word captive to the obedience of Christ.

We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,

See like I have said this was designed by Satan himself to confusion and convince the world that he is the one we should fear when it is the one who created him, we need to be afraid of and this is not being preached or taught over the pulpit today.

The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not suffer for the iniquity of the father, nor the father suffer for the iniquity of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.

I added Ezekiel here because it speaks along the same lines. The soul who sins shall die, and then it expresses that a person will suffer their own iniquities. At my bible study last night, the bible study teacher gave us a very good illustration through a video the depth of that word I wish I had a copy so you could see the depth of this word as well.

It is only a wise man that can see the truth from a lie, and it is not because of his own understanding it is because of the discernment given to him by God through the gift of wisdom.

Look the devil is the father of lies, he lie from the beginning to Eve and he will continue to lie and deceive till the very end so like my Pastor said to us on Sunday, take your faces off of face book and put it in this book the bible.

Here are a couple of beautiful verses on about the fear of the Lord.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever!

The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.
