What a coincidence that this week my Pastor went over the book of Revelation, and I was also preparing to go over the Book of Revelation for my next blog. I believe it was confirmation; to share with you all; the book of Revelation, a very powerful book. The book speaks about the blessings, that comes upon whoever, reads it and listens to it.
The most I love about the book of Revelation; that it speaks of the wrath of God, the lamb who was slain for our transgressions our Jesus Christ. Can you imagine such a wrath? Well, I am going to share two sets of verses. I hope it will enlighten everyone to the gravity of this wrath. I believe very few people understand what will come upon the earth when my savior returns.
Revelation 6:14-17
14 The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.
15 Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. 16 They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us[a] from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 For the great day of their[b] wrath has come, and who can withstand it?”
Revelation 14:9-10
9 A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their forehead or on their hand, 10 they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb.
I will share with you the depth of these verses and some others that I will mention.
In these verses you shouldn’t have to dig that deep; to see the direction; I am going with this but if not, I will share with you the length, width and depth of His wrath. I don’t think people fully understand it, so I want to shed some light on the issue to help bring some clarity.
So, let’s begin! I started with these two chapters, and verses because people do not want to see Jesus and God as one. When it is clearly state, they are. Here it speaks of the wrath of the lamb coming out from a full cup of indignation of the world poured out with full strength, and man that is something that will defiantly sober you right up.
Now put yourself in Jesus’s shoes or sandals, you come to a wrenched planet to save the lives of those in it. However, the people of this planet defied, tortured, mutilated, and denied His deity. But they talk about him as if they know Him and deny His existence to His face. I guess you are starting to get my point. So now imagine that this is you and all of this was done to you. We get crazy when someone just cuts us off in traffic, we want to kill that person for such a simple thing and yet see not the affliction poured out on our savior.
Consequently, now that all this thing has overtaken you so now vengeance is yours to command as you will. You can now see a little of that wrath’s depth, and it is not a pretty site. However, before I go there, I want to share His heart with mankind. Now let me make this clear we as mortals can even begin to know what is in the mind of the most High-God but through his word we can know what He requires. So, with that said, let me share with you, Jesus goes to the Father to plead for what he had to bear for man’s wick ways.
Luke 22:42-44
42 saying, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.” 43 And there appeared to him an angel from heaven, strengthening him.44 And being in agony he prayed more earnestly; and his sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.[a]
Again, for the second time, he went away and prayed, “My Father, if this cannot pass unless I drink it, your will be done.”
This should sober us all up because what he went thru for us most family members wouldn’t even do for, they’re on son or daughters. When I see what He had to bear for me, it helps me see things in a different light which help me get better perspective of who he truly is to me. So, I gladly turn to Him for my vengeance because I believe there is no one that can enact vengeance better than the creator.
Sorry I went on a rant so back to the topic at hand critical theory is the most negative thing to ever hit the church today. People are so ready to look inward instead of upward. We constantly look to man for answers that God a lone has. This is why Satan can easily manipulate us in all things evil. It is so true what my pastor said to us at the men’s meeting this weekend. God tells us in many ways what His will is for us, but we choose not to hear. I added that it starts with the first sin, and with who it started. See it is said pride comes before the fall of all mankind. This is why all kinds of false claims can take place of the truth. We are our own worst enemy.
If we don’t start to understand that the word of God is the truth that we must hold everything up to in order for us to be able to walk in righteousness our hearts will never be open to truth. The same way we hold something up to the light to see it better we are to do the same with the matters in our live. We are to hold it up to His word to see what God want us to do or how He wants us to move. We can’t take this social justice movement of this time and age as something that is truth to be use with scripture, it will steer us in the wrong direction because of how we feelings on the matter even if there is some truth in it. God made it clear on how we should not rely on our feeling because it will always dilute and cloud our understanding on all matters. Please people, His word is sufficient for it all.
