Today I want to talk about why so many youtubers are addressing artists who call them selves Christian’s but choose to deliberately deny God’s truth.
I am very surprised that many of these youtuber didn’t take this route. See there are times God will ask us to do a teaching, so it is clear to why God opposes sin which by the way it truly is. God wants us to bring clarity to a matter and not more confusing. When they are denying basic sins that God calls sin in His word, they are denying Him. However, these brothers and sisters in Christ are doing this in love because they do not want to see these artists lose their way.
Consequently, I did a study on the word adultery which is one of the ten commandments. I believe if they have the truth on this and if they are truly saved, they will turn from what is sinful to the living God, Jesus Christ.
The word is derived from a Latin word which was a two-part word. One aspect of the word is altered, instead of explaining let me just add the text from the dictionary.
What’s the difference between adultery and fornication?
In case you were wondering, the words adultery and adult are not etymologically related (in other words, adultery didn’t grow out of adult in the way that punditry grew out of pundit). Although both words come from Latin and share the same first five letters, adultery is from adulterāre (“to pollute, defile, commit adultery”), a word formed ultimately from the Latin elements ad- “to, near” and alter “other.” English adult comes from adultus, which is the past participle of the Latin word adolescere (“to grow up”).
In legal use there is a difference between adultery and fornication. Adultery is only used when at least one of the parties involved (either male or female) is married, whereas fornication may be used to describe two people who are unmarried (to each other or anyone else) engaging in consensual sexual intercourse.
So here it is clear that adultery is a deviation for what God calls for in relations with a man and a woman. Consequently, any alteration to the order God has put in place for a man and a woman is adultery by definition and is an alteration of what is righteous. When this is done it pollutes and defiles the meaning of the proper union between man and woman. However, when we act upon these following behaviors like, sex outside of marriage, sex with someone other than your wife or husband, bestiality, homosexuality, pedophilia, rape and polygamy they may be others, but these are the most spoke on and are an offense to God.
These are all sins and an offense to God oh Mighty. When this is done you are taking an aggressive stand against God order and design for mankind.
Look before I go any further, I do not want you to think that I am without compassion because that is far from the truth you can be. It is because of the love that God has given me that I make this plea to you. We need to understand that this is no different than any other sin we need to fight against. The difference here is that Satan sees how easily this divides us, so he uses this tactic against mankind. However, if we are honest with ourselves, we would see the tree before the forest. All sin is about feelings there is no sin that is without a feeling behind it, but we argue about this one. I ask you this question what makes this sin feeling any different than the other sins that you agree are sin, please feel free to write me so we can talk through the issue.
I hope now you begin to see why this is important to address. We cannot be lacking in these last days for our time on this side of heaven is short so our elections need to be clear and decisive because nothing less will do.
I will share some verses that shows how God feels about this sin and what He does to those who choose to live in this sin.
Before I provide scripture, I just want to make sure that we all see what adultery is. If you know our Heavenly Father, then you know God makes no mistake in words He uses. God is very deliberate in the words He uses. He says in His word he will hold us accountable for every idled word we speak because words have the power of life and death in them. God’s words are truth and when miss used it can lead to the second death. I believe that this phrase is miss used today but what I said above is what God meant when he said that words have life and death in them. See it may mean nothing to you now but in the day of God it will mean life or death.
So, I will start with the seventh commandment.
Deuteronomy 5:18
18 ‘Neither must you commit adultery.
14 “You must not commit adultery.
I put these two here because these two books have the ten commandments in them.
You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.
If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.
Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.
Just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.
See what we fail to understand is that this sin is an abomination to God because it is a sin against one’s own flash and that is how it defile and pollutes our soul. Brothers & sisters, I do not want you to pollute your souls and lose your way to our lord and savior, this is why it is important for us to know the differences.
So, I will leave you with one more set of truths from God on why we should never trust our hearts or feelings in hope to give you a better understanding of our condition.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
For without God we will be left to our own demise which is not a good thing because the word says that our hearts are:
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?
